LR PRODUCTS –MADE EXCLUSIVELY WITH THE HIGH-QUALITY LEAF FILLET
For LR's Aloe Vera Drinking Gels is used nothing but the pure leaf fillet of Aloe barbadensis Miller. The fillet can be found inside the leaf of the Aloe vera plant and is free from potentially harmful aloin* (hydroxyanthracene derivative, HAD). Aloin is a bitter-tasting substance in the outer rind of the leaf and latex layer of the Aloe vera plant. At LR's production plant, these components are carefully and completely removed in a strictly controlled process. Regardless of this, each batch of leaf fillets is checked for aloin residues after extraction and before processing at LR's state-of-the-art production facility in Germany. LR also tests the finished product again. To ensure supreme quality, Aloe Vera Drinking Gels are subject to regular tests by independent authorities such as SGS Institut Fresenius. In addition, LR's production is audited at regular intervals. LR's satisfied customers and the steadily increasing demand for its products are further proof of their quality.
PRODUCTION – SAFE AND SUSTAINABLE
LR has more than 18 years of experience in the field of producing Aloe Vera Drinking Gels and health supplements. LR's high product standard begins with the cultivation of the plant in Mexico. The crop grows in arid regions and on poor soil and thus particularly enables communities in economically weak areas to make a living. The cultivation is sustainable and based on strictly controlled quality criteria. LR uses nothing but Aloe barbadensis Miller in its products. After harvesting, the pure Aloe vera fillet is extracted from the Aloe vera leaves in a strictly controlled process:
1st step
Every leaf is washed mechanically in water to remove dirt and any other residues.
2nd step
The green outer skin and latex layer are carefully and generously separated from the top and bottom of the leaf, leaving only the gel-like inside, i.e. the leaf fillet, for further processing.
3rd step
The Aloe vera leaf fillet is filtered and then cleaned thoroughly.
At LR's state-of-the-art production facility in Ahlen, Germany, the aloin-free* leaf fillet is processed into LR's versatile LR Aloe Vera Drinking Gels. Every production step – from the cultivation of the plant to the delivery of the finished product – is strictly monitored by independent institutes and internal quality checks.
STATE-OF-THE-ART PRODUCTION FACILITY IN AHLEN
At LR, quality takes top priority. To ensure LR's products are the best they can be, LR routinely conducts internal checks but also undergoes testing by independent inspection authorities. SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS, which checks Aloe Vera Drinking Gels, confirms: "SGS INSTITUT FRESENIUS can in good conscience attest to the high quality of the LR Aloe Vera Drinking Gels.
